AAGNJ through NJEDA funding in cooperation with the City of Salem, endeavors to ascertain the feasibility of activating the following under-utilized city owned public assets for the benefit of the Salem community and regional economy: 142-144 W. Broadway, Salem, NJ 148 W. Broadway, Salem, NJ 113 Market Street, Salem, NJ. The City of Salem recognizes the value of the efforts that will be undertaken to create an innovative use of these distressed properties. Our team believes the activation of said properties will help drive economic growth and equity.

As part of the plan, AAGNJ will engage the community to participate in the visioning process which includes:
one-on-one meetings and interviews
focus group sessions
contractor and official walk-throughs
compilations from a community survey
preparing and conducting a shared vision discussion
The final report, which includes activation team's feasibility of the properties is now accessible.
